Residency in Clermont-Ferrand
Since 2022, the Alma Mahler Kammerorchester has been in residence at the Conservatoire Emmanuel Chabrier in Clermont-Ferrand
This residency is part of Clermont-Ferrand's bid to become the European capital of culture 2028.
The Conservatoire Emmanuel Chabrier makes its premises and staff available to the AMK every summer for a period of rehearsals. An end-of-residency concert is organised there.

Meeting the Clermont-Ferrand public
During its residency, the AMK plays throughout the Clermont-Ferrand metropolitan area, giving concerts in venues such as the Maison de l'Oradou, the Social Centres Nelson Mandela and Saint-Jacques, the FAC in Chamalières, the Jardin le Coq, etc. The AMK also performs at festivals in the Auvergne region.

Educational outreach
The AMK offers concerts aimed at new audiences unfamiliar with concert halls, as well as educational workshops for children.
