What is the best thing about playing the flute?
Apart from the fact that it's the most beautiful instrument ever? Well, it's shiny, it's easy to carry and you don't need to worry about making reeds.

If you could ask any composer one question, who would you pick and what would you ask him/her?

I would ask Claude Debussy to finish his Sonata cycle. He died after writing the three first sonatas (for violin and piano, for cello and piano, and for flute, viola and harp). But he had planned to write a 4th sonata for oboe, horn and harpsichord, a 5th sonata for trumpet, clarinet, bassoon and piano, and a last one reuniting all of these instruments... Can you imagine?!
So, after I kindly ask him to finish composing all of that, we could play the whole cycle with Alma Mahler Kammerorchester!

What is your guilty pleasure that you only listen to in secret?
All tracks from the “The Sound of Music“.

If you had a super power, what would it be?
Making amazing food appear using just my mind. And then making the dishes disappear.

What has been your best AMK moment so far?
Difficult to pick only one!
Maybe the very first rehearsal. We started with the Scherzo of Mahler's 1st symphony. To me, hearing the first sounds of our new ensemble was so thrilling! It was really special and, even though we had a lot of work to do on that piece, it felt right from the very first note. I also loved the moment just before our last concert, where everyone starting hugging and wishing each other good luck.

Describe AMK in three words.
Amazing adventure starting...
